As half of the ghost hunting Specter Collectors, Dalton Peck was a happy fraud. He'd convinced his business partner that adding special effects to their online videos was just a white lie. Dalton saw the duplicity as a necessary evil to keep their channel afloat. When a mysterious manuscript arrives on his doorstep containing instructions for performing a ritual of transformation, Dalton envisions a spike in subscribers. To his ultimate horror the ritual is a success. Another universe is unveiled to the lifelong skeptic, with terrifying consequences. Dalton's worldview is shattered.
